There are plenty of steps you can take to support

There are plenty of steps you can take to support your thyroid outside of nutrition.

But here are some other strategies to implement that will support your thyroid and hormone health in a big way 👉

1. Get sunlight — provided you with vitamin D which is key for thyroid hormone production. Plus, sunlight and time outdoors is calming for the body

2. Sleep — create healthy boundaries around your bedtime. Sleep is when your body detoxes and repairs and supports circadian rhythm balance

3. Manage your stress — easier said than done, I get it! Stress management and including stress reducing exercises, like walking, breath work, journaling, meditation support the nervous system and in term improve thyroid hormone production

4. Reduce toxins — everyday skin care, beauty care and cleaning supplies can contain numerous endocrine disruptors which create hormone imbalance

5. Go play — get creative, do the things that bring you joy, spend time with loved ones. This all helps to lower stress hormones and in turn create more happiness and pleasure in your life.

A teaspoon a day of this powerful Vampire Immune E

A teaspoon a day of this powerful Vampire Immune Elixir (aka. Fire cider 😉) is all you need to help prevent the cold and flu, strengthen your immune system, and support detoxification.

This cider is loaded with garlic, an antibacterial powerhouse + ginger, garlic and jalapeño all help to heat and warm your body, detox your system and improve circulation.

Stimulating blood flow is important as this helps to flush toxins and waste through your body.

You’ll need to let this ferment for roughly 30 days to help increase the potency and being that this is an old folk remedy, you can pretty much use whatever herbs and spices you’d like. The fermentation process turns this elixir into a cold and flu fighting nutrition powerhouse!

Be sure to store it in a warm place (I put mine in the pantry) and left it for about a month.

Here’s what I included in mine:
— 1 lemon
— half an orange
— 1 onion chopped
— 3 garlic cloves
— hunk of fresh ginger
— 2 cinnamon sticks
— 1 bunch of fresh rosemary
— 1 Jalapeño
— 2 heaping tbsp raw honey (add more after once you’ve finished fermenting it)
— 1 bottle ACV

Other ingredients you can add in - turmeric, ground spices if you don’t have them fresh, horseradish, peppercorns

After you’ve fermented it for 30 days, strain it, then take 1-2 tsps daily for immune health 👌You can store it in the fridge or keep in the cupboard.
