Mother’s Day Brunch Menu

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate mom than to cook her up a delicious and healthy brunch!

Growing up, my mother made everything from scratch and I was really lucky to have a mom that made all my lunches, cooked delicious dinners and cringed at packaged food. 

Although, don’t get me wrong, I still had my fair share of pop tarts, count dracula cereal and fruit roll ups! 

My mother played (and still plays) and integral part of my life, especially when it comes to my love of cooking. Growing up and seeing my mom cook from scratch and take the time to prepare food is what has encouraged me to learn to cook and of course, steal all of her amazing recipes!

What I love now is that the roles have changed, and with my mother getting on board with going gluten free, cutting out the sugar and eating better, I’m teaching her my tricks of the trade and teaching her all about gluten free cooking and baking. 

I love rummaging through her cupboards and finding almond flour, coconut flour and dairy free chocolate chips. It makes me smile seeing that she’s ditched the old school flours and overly sweet treats. 

So if you’re looking for ways to celebrate mom this weekend, cook her a delicious gluten free feast that will support her health, hormones and give her lots of incredible energy!
