Delicious Local Salad Mixes, Raw Vegan Sea-Zar Salad Dressing and Other Great Products I LOVE for Meatless Monday!

Grocery shopping can be quite an event for me! I love taking my time and searching through produce and looking for new products to try. That’s how I landed on these items below! I am absolutely in love Victory Organic salad mixes- which just so happens to be LOCAL, SUPER FRESH and ORGANIC!! And the Sea-Zar salad dressing! It is oh-so-good! It’s raw, vegan, organic, gluten free and contains a super dose of sea minerals! I also tried this new line of vegan ‘seafood’ which was delicious! The line up includes- vegan shrimp, calamari, squid rings, prawns, and breaded fish fillet. I indulged in the shrimp and calamari and was SO IMPRESSED! It was yummy! These products are great for meatless monday and I hope you get to try them and love them as much as I do!

Victory Salad Mix from www.victoryorganic.ca

This Salad mix contains it all! It’s delicious and highly nutritious. Visit their website for all their salad mixes. I just personally love this one. Here’s what greens you’ll find in this victory mix…

ARUGULA

This bittery pungent green gives an incredible boost to any salad! Aruglula is an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamic C, folic acid, manganese, calcium and magnesium.

BABY BOK CHOY

Bok Choy is an amazing green for stir fries! It contains high amounts of vitamin A and C, folate and potassium!

ROMAINE

Romaine lettuce is a super duper green! It contains loads of vitamin A, folic acid, and vitamins C, B1, and B2. It’s also a favorite ‘diet’ food due to it’s high water content!

WATERCRESS

Watercress has a delicious peppery flavour. Watercress is also extrememly high in chlorophyll and carotenes, especially beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin!

KALE

A delicious bitter, peppery green, Kale is amongst the most highly nutritious vegetables. In fact, 1 cup of kale supplies more than 70% of the recommended daily intake for vitamin C!

MUSTARD GREENS

Mustard greens are a low-calorie, antioxidant-dense food. They are an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamic C, folic acid, manganese, vitamin E, copper, dietary fiber, vitamin B6, and calcium.

SORREL

Rich in potassium and vitamins A and C, sorrel has a tangy lemony taste. It is easily one of the most distinguishable leaves found in this salad mix with it’s vibrant green leaf and red veins.

SWISS CHARD

Another bitter green, swiss chard is high in carotenes, chlorophyll, soluble fiber, calcium, magnesium, vitamin A, C and K!

This salad dressing is so good! Most caesar salad dressings are very rich, loaded with salt and aren’t nearly as nutrient dense as this one! This dressing contains Dulse- a super food from the sea loaded with iron, B12, B6, iron and potassium! Visit www.rawfoodz.com for all their delicious raw vegan dressings.

And lastly, a vegan alternative to seafood?? What woulda thought?! I just couldn’t pass up trying these! They are super delicious, gluten free, high fiber and contain NO GMO’S! Visit www.sophieskitchen.net for all their product info and other seafood varieties.
